2024 PROGRAMS

Fundraising Growth Sprint

In September, we launched the inaugural cohort of our virtual masterclass, created to empower nonprofit leaders to optimize their fundraising strategies, enhance organizational sustainability, and unlock their growth potential. This diverse group of nonprofit leaders from organizations joined our peer-learning community, engaging in expert-led courses, live coaching sessions, and hands-on resources designed to elevate their fundraising success and maximize their impact.

This program has been truly transformative, both for me and for my organization. It’s given us tangible skills that we’ve already put into action—like a more strategic fundraising approach and the use of powerful storytelling techniques that resonate deeply with our supporters. But beyond the practical takeaways, the biggest impact has been the boost in confidence.
— Akiera Gilbert, CEO, Project HEAL
Connecting with a community of social impact peers, learning together, and hearing from funders expanded my thinking and sparked innovation in our fundraising strategy. We are already seeing the benefit of implementing these new ideas and the positive outcomes of new relationships built through the Fundraising Growth Sprint!

Nonprofit Sustainability Programs

We partnered with the Kataly Foundation, lululemon Centre for Social Impact, Okta for Good, Pinterest, and The Asian American Foundation to deliver customized capacity-strengthening programs that empower nonprofit sustainability. Tailored to each funder’s grantees, these programs—both domestic and global—feature live workshops, 1:1 coaching, and community-building opportunities. Focused on brand storytelling, fundraising, operations, and leadership, participants build valuable connections and create actionable roadmaps for lasting impact. We also continued Alumni programming through multi-year partnerships, providing ongoing support for returning grantees' to further their leadership development.

This year, we were especially proud to collaborate with Okta for Good to design and launch a new leadership wellness program, equipping nonprofit leaders with tools to thrive both personally and professionally.

Raise for Good understands how overextended nonprofit staff are, creating helpful, non-onerous programs. Thank you for these workshops! The Asian American Foundation shows it cares about our sustainability, not just financial investment. I’ve really appreciated all that you do for us. Thank you!

CLIENT HIGHLIGHTS

Celebrating 10 Years of Impact with Pledge 1%

We marked a decade of impact and growth with Pledge 1% by ringing the closing bell at Nasdaq on Giving Tuesday and uniting over 100 movement leaders for a milestone celebration. As Pledge 1%'s long-term strategic partner, we have played a key role in helping them build a thriving global movement of corporate philanthropy while activating CEOs and investors as donors and advocates to invest in and support the organization’s future. From its inception, Pledge 1% has championed the belief that businesses can prosper by giving back—and that doing good is not only the right thing to do but also beneficial for business. Today, the movement includes 18,000 companies and has sparked $2.5B in corporate philanthropy.

As Pledge 1% celebrates a decade of impact, we’re proud to reflect on the incredible journey we’ve had, and we couldn’t have done it without Raise for Good by our side. Their strategic partnership has been nothing short of transformative, helping us grow our Builders corporate social impact community, launch our CEO and investor Evangelist program, and more than 10X our fundraising efforts.

Launching the Hidden Healing Fund

We supported founding partners Pinterest, lululemon, and MTV Entertainment Studios to co-create the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Hidden Healing Fund alongside field experts and community stakeholders. Announced at the Clinton Global Initiative and spotlighted by Fortune and Forbes during Mental Health Awareness Month in 2024, this groundbreaking initiative uplifts culturally-rooted healing practices to support young people's mental health. As we enter the next phase, Raise for Good is leading the execution of the pilot program—moving from strategy to action by engaging more brands, establishing fund operations, facilitating grantmaking, and supporting the inaugural grantee cohort.

Raise for Good’s collaboration and commitment helped bring the vision of Hidden Healing Fund to life in a way that feels authentic and impactful. Within an innovative initiative with no precedent or blueprint, Raise for Good brought a valuable relational approach to create alignment across diverse stakeholders. I am excited about how the Fund can help redefine what supporting diverse young people’s wellbeing can look like.

Embarking on a New Chapter with illumyn Impact

In 2024, we deepened our partnership with illumyn Impact (formerly Him for Her) during a pivotal moment in their organizational journey. As they embarked on an ambitious rebrand to better reflect their expanding mission, we worked side-by-side to develop a comprehensive fundraising framework that would amplify their new identity. Our partnership helped position them to harness this energy, engaging both long-time supporters and new donors to accelerate their vision of gender inclusive boardrooms.

Raise for Good continues to be a critical thought partner, guiding us through foundational milestones, strategic fundraising, and our transition from Him for Her to illumyn Impact. Their expertise in donor engagement, communications, and strategy optimization has been instrumental in how we strategize toward additional success and ongoing sustainability.

COMMUNITY HIGHLIGHTS

Connection and community are always at the heart of what we do. From partner convenings like the Pinterest Impact Lab and Pledge 1% Builders Summit to industry events including Clinton Global Initiative, UN Global Assembly, and the Social Innovation Summit, we had the privilege of connecting with our partners, colleagues, and social impact community at multiple touch points throughout the year.

Community Conversations

Our virtual panel discussions brought together funders, nonprofit leaders, and social impact practitioners to create space for connection, shared learning, and inspiration. A dynamic and diverse lineup of speakers shared their expertise, lived experiences, and unique perspectives on topics top of mind for our community.

We are so grateful for our incredible community of visionaries, innovators, changemakers, and doers. Thank you for entrusting us with your partnership as we push forward in our shared commitment to create a better world. We’re excited to continue this journey with you and look forward to offering new opportunities for both nonprofit leaders and funders to maximize their impact in 2025.

This year we had the privilege of giving back to our community through two extraordinary organizations, Nomi Network and Empower Work. Their impactful work strongly aligns with our vision, and we invite you to join us in supporting their work to shape a brighter future for all!

Nomi Network combats human trafficking by creating pathways to safe employment, empowering women and girls to break cycles of exploitation in their families and communities.

Empower Work creates healthy, equitable workplaces where people are valued, supported, and empowered in ways that support their economic mobility, emotional well-being, and career success.
